Ares Strategic Mining Announces Completion of Major Processing Plant Infrastructure Milestones
(TheNewswire)
Conveyor Belt System and ElectricalMCC Network Completed as Lost Sheep Processing Facility Moves Closerto Commissioning
Vancouver, B.C.,13th May 2026 – TheNewswire – Ares StrategicMining Inc. (CSE: ARS) (OTCQX: ARSMF) (FRA: N8I1) is pleased toannounce the successful completion of two of the most criticalinfrastructure components at its Lost Sheep Fluorspar ProcessingFacility in Utah: the installation of the plant’s conveyor beltsystem and the completion of the facility’s electrical and MotorControl Center (“MCC”) systems.
These milestones represent a majorstep forward in the Company’s transition from mine development intofully integrated processing operations and significantly advance theplant toward commissioning and production readiness.
Critical SystemsNow Installed
The newly completed infrastructure includes:
Full installation of the plant’s primary materialhandling and conveyor belt systems
Completion of the facility-wide electrical distributionnetwork
Installation and integration of the plant’s MotorControl Center (MCC) systems
Energization-ready infrastructure to support crushers, screens, flotation circuits, pumps, and processing equipment
The conveyor network forms the operational backbone ofthe processing facility, enabling the continuous and automatedmovement of ore between crushing, sorting, and processing stages.Meanwhile, the MCC and electrical systems provide centralized powerdistribution, process control, equipment protection, and operationalautomation throughout the plant.
MCC / ElectricalControl Systems
James Walker, President and CEO of Ares StrategicMining, commented: “The completion of the conveyor and MCC systemsis one of the most important construction milestones we have achievedto date. These are not cosmetic additions — they are the centralnervous system of the processing facility. Without these systems,industrial-scale processing cannot occur. Their completion marks ahuge leap toward operational readiness and futureproduction.”
A Transformational Milestone Toward Production
The completion of these systems substantially de-risksthe project and positions Ares to accelerate final mechanicalinstallations and commissioning activities.
The MCCinfrastructure is particularly significant because it:
Controls and distributes power across the entireplant
Enables synchronized operation of processingequipment
Supports future automation and scalability
Provides industrial-grade operational reliability andsafety
Likewise, theconveyor system enables:
Continuous ore flow throughout the facility
Efficient material handling and throughput
Reduced operating downtime and laborrequirements
Consistent feed rates for optimized processingperformance
“You cannot operate a modern processing facilitywithout these systems,” Walker added. “This is foundationalinfrastructure — the kind of progress that transforms a constructionproject into an operating industrial facility.”

DISCLOSURE ANDFORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS:
Companies typically rely oncomprehensive feasibility reports on mineral reserve estimates toreduce the risks and uncertainties associated with a productiondecision. Historically, situations where the issuer decides to put amineral project into production without first establishing mineralreserves supported by a technical report and completing a feasibilitystudy have a higher risk of economic or technical failure, though someindustrial mineral ventures are relatively simple operations with lowlevels of investment and risk, where the operating entity hasdetermined that a formal prefeasibility or feasibility study inconformance with NI 43-101 and 43-101 CP is not required for aproduction decision. Based on historical engineering work, geologicalreports, historical production data and current engineering workcompleted or in the processby Ares, the Company intends to move forward with the development ofits Utah asset.
