Modern reassay of historic drill corevalidates bedrock-hosted uranium mineralization and reveals a coherentrare earth element system, supporting renewed, structurally focusedexploration.

Vancouver, British Columbia –February 3, 2026 TheNewswire – Belmont Resources Inc. (TSX-V: BEA; FSE: L3L2) (“Belmont” or the “Company”)is pleased to report results from the re-assaying of selectedintervals of historic drill core from its 100%-owned CrackingstoneProject, located in the Beaverlodge–Uranium City district ofnorthern Saskatchewan. The re-assaying program has identified multipleintervals exhibiting elevated uranium and rare earth element(“REE”) concentrations, including several zones where both uraniumand REE enrichment occur together, highlightingthe project’s potential as an integrated uranium–rare earth critical minerals system.

The re-assaying program focused on drill coreoriginally completed in 2008 and was undertaken to address two keyobjectives: (i) to re-analyze historic uranium intervals using modernanalytical methods, and (ii) to assay pegmatite-hosted intervals thatwere not analyzed for rare earth elements at the time of drilling, when REEs were not a primary exploration focus. The results confirmthat several previously untested intervals contain meaningful REEenrichment, and in some cases coincident uranium and REEvalues.

The Crackingstone Project is strategically locatedwithin the prolific Beaverlodge–Uranium City district, host tomultiple past-producing uranium mines, and benefits from existinginfrastructure, historical exploration data, and favorable geology forboth uranium and critical mineral mineralization.

Technical Highlights

The following technical highlights summarize keyobservations from the 2025 re-assaying program and are provided forcontext ahead of the detailed assay results.

Highlights include:
• Multiple re-assayed intervals with elevated uranium values
• Identification of REE-enriched pegmatite-hosted intervals notpreviously assayed
• Several zones exhibiting coincident uranium and rare earth elementenrichment

Analytical and MethodologyNotes

The assay results reported herein are derived from there-analysis of selected intervals of historical drill core from theCrackingstone Project. Samples were analyzed by an accreditedlaboratory using inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) following total digestion for uranium and rare earthelements. Uranium results are reported in parts per million (ppm).Total rare earth elements (?REE) represent the sum of measured rareearth elements from lanthanum (La) to lutetium (Lu), including yttrium(Y), reported in ppm. The light-to-heavy rare earth element ratio(LREE/HREE), calculated as La–Eu divided by Gd–Lu plus Y, isprovided for geochemical characterization purposes only. A calculatedU×?REE value is included as a non-standard metric used solely for qualitative internal comparison of intervalsexhibiting coincident uranium and rare earth element enrichment anddoes not represent grade or economic significance. Reported resultsrepresent individual sample intervals and should not be interpreted asrepresentative of average grades or as evidence of economicmineralization.

Why Crackingstone / Why Now

The results of this re-assaying program reinforce theview that Crackingstone represents more than a traditional uraniumtarget. The identification of REE-enriched pegmatites, together withintervals showing coincident uranium and REE enrichment, supports abroader exploration model aligned with evolving global demand fornuclear fuel and critical minerals. Advances in analytical techniquesand the growing strategic importance of rare earth elements havematerially changed the exploration landscape since the originaldrilling was completed.

Belmont believes these results provide a strongtechnical foundation to refine exploration targeting and integrateuranium and REE vectors into ongoing geological and structuralinterpretations to guide future exploration planning.

“This reassay confirms what we believed was present at Crackingstoneand, importantly, expands the opportunity by applying a moderncritical-minerals lens to historical drilling,” said GeorgeSookochoff, Chairman of Belmont Resources Inc. “With uraniummineralization validated and rare earth potential now clearlydemonstrated in previously unassayed intervals, we believe the projectis well positioned for the next phase of disciplined, structurallyfocused exploration.”

The Company believes the results of the SRC reassayrepresent an important technical milestone for the CrackingstoneProject, confirming the presence of bedrock-hosted uraniummineralization together with a coherent rare earth element system. These findings materially strengthen the geological foundation of theproject and support advancing Crackingstone through continuedtechnical evaluation and planning toward future explorationactivities.
