Critical Infrastructure Technologies United States Patent Application Granted
(TheNewswire)
Vancouver, British Columbia –TheNewswire - February27, 2026 – Critical InfrastructureTechnologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (OTC: CITLF) (FRA: X9V) (“CiTech” or the “Company”), a developer of autonomous,high-capacity mobile communications and security platforms, is pleasedto announce that its United States patentapplication titled “A Mobile Radio Station” has now been formallygranted.
The patent, United States Patent No. US 12,555,886, hasbeen granted. The application (No. 18/558043) is registered in thename of Critical Infrastructure Technologies Pty Ltd and relates tothe core technology underpinning the Company’s Nexus platformarchitecture.
STRENGTHENING GLOBAL INTELLECTUALPROPERTY POSITION
The U.S. patent grant represents a significantmilestone in CiTech’s global intellectual property strategy andsecures protection in one of the world’s largest defence, telecommunications, and homeland security markets.
The patented invention covers CiTech’s deployable, autonomous mobile radio station system — an integrated, containerised communications platform designed for rapid establishmentof secure connectivity in remote, disaster-affected, and high-threatenvironments.
The system integrates:
• A transportable ISO container-based communicationshub
• A hydraulically deployed, rigid scissor-liftmast
• Hybrid energy systems incorporating battery storageand renewable inputs
• Automated deployment functionality
• Climate-controlled, mission-ready communicationsarchitecture
STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE IN THE U.S.MARKET
The United States represents a key strategic market forCiTech across defence, emergency response, border security, energy, mining, and aerospace sectors.
Grant of the U.S. patent strengthens CiTech’s abilityto:
• Protect its rigid mast and autonomous deploymenttechnology
• Engage with U.S. defence and federalagencies
• Expand licensing and partnershipopportunities
• Secure long-term commercial advantage inmission-critical communications
The patent further enhances CiTech’s competitivepositioning as it continues expanding its international footprintacross North America, Europe, and allied markets.
CiTech’s invention defines a deployable, autonomous mobile radio station designed for rapid establishment of secure communications inremote or high-threat environments. The system overcomes thelimitations of conventional mobile LTE and radio infrastructure byintegrating transportability, energy autonomy, andintelligent automation.
The patented design substantially expandsCiTech’s Total Addressable Market, extending beyond traditional telecommunications infrastructureinto defence, disaster response, remoteindustrial operations, mining, and emerging aerospace and satelliteapplications.
CiTech filed patent applications for “AMobile Radio Station” in:
Australia, Canada, China, Europe, India, Japan, Republic of Korea,South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam and the United States.
Along with the United States, SouthAfrican have granted a patent All otherjurisdictions are either filed, under or awaiting examination. Thisextensive global IP coverage ensures broad protection of CiTech’sNexus 20 technology across major defence and communicationsmarkets.
CiTech’s Nexus 20 platform delivers a fully self-contained, air-liftablecommunications hub capable of autonomous field operation, ideal for rapid network establishmentin defence operations, disaster recovery, and remote mission support.
A key differentiator of CiTech’s design isits super-rigid, precision-engineeredmast, which maintains complete stabilityeven under extreme wind conditions. Unlike competitor systems thatsuffer vibration and movement during operation, CiTech’s mast designensures consistent, uninterrupted signaldelivery—a critical requirement formission-critical defence and communications environments.
Its energy independence, automation, and structuralintegrity significantly reduce personnel exposure and logistics, enhancing reliability and operational readiness in demanding fieldconditions.
The system’s modular and AI-enabled architecture alsopositions CiTech for next-generationapplications, including:
Rapid-deploy satellite ground stations and mobiletelemetry for aerospace and UAS testranges.
Counter-UAS and electronic perimeter defence, areas of growing focus in NATO and European defenceprograms.
Critical infrastructure protection and smart citysecurity, enabling mobile monitoring forports, airports, and large-scale civic events.

About Critical InfrastructureTechnologies Ltd.
Listed on the CSE with operations in Perth, WesternAustralia, CiTech is creating autonomous, high capacity, rapidlydeployable technology that delivers essential services to where theyare needed most. CiTech is targeting the mining, defence, bordersecurity/surveillance and emergency services sectors in relation toits first product release, the Nexus 16, which aims to providecritical mobile telecommunications for such sectors. Using patentedtechnologies, CiTech’s self-deploying platform (SDP) provides asolution for two of the greatest limitations of current rapidlydeployable communication solutions, strength of the tower and abilityto rapidly self-deploy and operate, in numerous situations. The SDP isdesigned to support radio equipment including LTE (Long TermEvolution) and several other technological payloads, such assurveillance and anti-drone systems. CiTech has completed the researchand development phase and is currently commercialising the first ofmany products that will be released. To learn more about the Company, visit www.citech.com.au.
