Eagle Point Credit Overview
With the continued headwinds within the debt markets, Eagle Point Credit ( ECC ) has continued to erode investor capital. When I previously covered ECC as a holder of the stock, I issued a hold rating due to the weak earnings but potential to improve performance if interest rates continued to trend lower. I would like to start off by apologizing to readers that may have been influenced by my prior article to hold on. I am owning that mistake as I shouldn't have been so forgiving at the time. Now that ECC reported its Q4 earnings, I wanted to provide an update on its outlook and highlight some of the challenges over the next twelve months....
