Today, we revisit E.ON (OTCPK: EONGY ) (OTCPK: ENAKF ) following the latest update on the German regulatory review . Downgrading a name while holding a Neutral stance is rarely comfortable. Still, in this case, our timing and assessment have been validated (Fig. 1). Indeed, our neutral view was grounded in three factors: 1) an ongoing contraction in the customer base, with deteriorating fundamentals at the net debt level; 2) an unchanged 2025 outlook despite; and 3) uncertainty with the regulatory ruling.
