The market underrates Fossil Group ( FOSL ) and ignores the hidden value in its subsidiary in India, as leaks suggest that FOSL is seriously considering the IPO of its subsidiary, aiming to collect 300 to $400 million in exchange for selling 25% of its India branch. This means that the Indian subsidiary alone is valued at $1.2 to $1.6 billion. In other words, this regional branch alone has an implied value of four or five times the market cap of the entire parent company listed on Wall Street.
