Vancouver, British Columbia, May 5, 2026 - TheNewswire – Genix PharmaceuticalsCorporation (TSX-V: GENX) (“Genix” or the “Company”) announcesthe resignation of Mr. Danny Lee as Chief Financial Officer, effectiveApril 30, 2026, to focus on his other business obligations.

On behalf of the Genix team, we thank Mr. Lee for hisvaluable contributions to the Company since December 2020, and wishhim continued success in his future endeavours.

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment ofMs. Raylen Tamayo as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effectiveMay 4, 2026. Ms. Tamayo brings over 8 years ofexperience in finance and accounting, primarily within publicly listedcompanies. She began her career as an assurance and consultingassociate at a top accounting firm and has since advanced throughsenior finance roles across a range of sectors. Her areas of expertiseinclude IFRS compliance, financial reporting and management, controland process streamlining, as well as advisory services for initialpublic offerings (IPOs) and reverse takeovers (RTOs). Ms. Tamayocurrently serves as a Manager at Zeus Accounting Solutions Corp.,where she also holds Controller roles for several companies. She holdsa Master’s degree from the University Canada West, where she majoredin Finance.
