New Discovery of Massive Stibnite (Antimony) on Globex's Bald Hill Property

MWN-AI** Summary

Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (Ticker: GMX) has announced an exciting discovery of massive stibnite, a primary source of antimony, at the Bald Hill property in New Brunswick. This discovery, located in the newly designated Marcus (West) Zone, spans over 25 meters and appears to be distinct from the previously identified Main Zone, which has undergone multiple successful drilling programs. The stibnite zone was revealed through road construction, presenting an opportunity for shallow drilling to assess its potential.

Antimony Resources Corp., which holds the exploration option on Bald Hill, has initiated a comprehensive Definition Drilling Program for 2026. This program employs two drill rigs, with plans to add a third unit in early February. The aim is to delineate and assess mineralization in the Main Zone, covering a distance of 600 meters and reaching depths of 300 meters. The proposed drill density is expected to be adequate for calculating a Maiden Resource for the project, signaling promising developments in the region's antimony potential.

CEO Jack Stoch, P.Geo., highlighted the significance of this discovery in enhancing the understanding of the Bald Hill mineral resources. The news reflects an ongoing commitment to exploration and development, with further information available through Antimony Resources' press releases.

Stakeholders and potential investors should take note of the implications this discovery may have for mineral resources in the region, as antimony is becoming increasingly valued in various industrial applications. However, Globex cautions that forward-looking statements regarding this discovery are subject to risks and uncertainties, and actual outcomes may differ significantly from expectations. For detailed inquiries, interested parties may refer to the company’s filings or contact Globex directly.

MWN-AI** Analysis

The recent discovery of massive stibnite (antimony) at Globex Mining Enterprises Inc.'s Bald Hill property has the potential to significantly impact the company's market valuation and present a compelling investment opportunity. Antimony, a critical material in various industrial and technological applications, is experiencing an uptick in demand, particularly in flame retardants, lead-acid batteries, and semiconductor production.

The exposure of the new Marcus (West) Zone, showcasing significant mineralization over 25 meters, adds a promising dimension to the Bald Hill project, which already has a history of successful drilling in its Main Zone. Such developments are likely to attract attention from both current and prospective investors keen on exposure to critical minerals and commodities that are poised for price appreciation due to supply constraints and rising demand.

The initiation of the 2026 Definition Drilling Program by Antimony Resources Corp. lends additional credence to the potential for positive outcomes from this project. With plans for detailed sampling over a 600-meter stretch and depths reaching 300 meters, the project is well-positioned to advance toward establishing a Maiden Resource. The ambition to delineate this mineralization is essential, as a measured resource could pave the way for future investment and development opportunities, potentially enhancing shareholder value.

From a market perspective, investors should monitor the evolving narrative surrounding the Bald Hill property closely. As drilling results emerge, the company's stock (GMX on the Toronto Stock Exchange) may experience elevated volatility, offering both risks and rewards. Careful evaluation of market sentiment, coupled with rigorous risk management strategies, will be essential for stakeholders looking to capitalize on this new discovery in a sector increasingly influenced by material shortages and geopolitical dynamics. In summary, this exciting development could position Globex Mining as a notable player in the anthimony market, particularly if resource delineation confirms the initial findings.

(CSE-ATMY, OTCQB-ATMYF, FSE-K8JO) have announced the discovery of massive stibnite (antimony) on the now labeled Marcus (West) Zone of the Bald Hill property in New Brunswick under option from Globex. The new massive sulphide stibnite zone, now exposed over 25 metres, is thought to be separate from the principal target area of the Main Zone which has been subject to several successful drill program. The new Marcus Zone was exposed on surface by access road construction and will be easily tested by shallow drilling.

“The Antimony Resources 2026 Definition Drilling Program has commenced to delineate the mineralization of the Main Zone at Bald Hill with two drill rigs. A third rig will be added in early February. This drilling is focused on detailed sampling of the Bald Hill Main Zone over a distance of 600 metres and to a depth of 300 metres. It is thought that the proposed drill density will be sufficient to calculate a Maiden Resource for the Bald Hill Project.”
