GPIQ With QQQH: Building Protection Against A Potential Nasdaq-100 Decline

Investment Thesis
When analyzing ETFs that use option strategies to generate returns and track the Nasdaq-100, I previously predicted potential growth in the technology market in 2026 because of the tech rally around AI and further easing of the Fed's monetary policy. That led me to bet on funds that have a higher beta to index volatility and are able to follow market growth more quickly. For this reason, the Goldman Sachs Nasdaq-100 Premium Income ETF ( GPIQ ) was my preferred choice over the JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF ( JEPQ ), despite the fact that both are identical funds that track the Nasdaq-100 index and offer high dividend yields of around 10%. Nevertheless, recent developments related to rising inflation risks, driven by labor market data and record oil prices (as a result of the cessation of oil and gas production in several Middle Eastern countries), compel me to take a more cautious view of the growth prospects for the technology market....
