Gatekeeper Systems: Traders Losing Patience During Long Radio Silence

I have been covering Gatekeeper Systems ( GSI:CA ) ( GKPRF ) on SeekingAlpha since summer 2024 , when I first issued a bullish call on the stock in light of Gatekeeper's strong position in what was about to become a big market: upgrading passenger train locomotives with crash-hardened memory modules, as required by a Federal Railroad Administration [FRA] mandate. Basically, the federal government ruled that all locomotives of passenger trains must have security cameras by October, 2027. This should be easy to understand: planes have "black boxes" to help with post-mortem analysis after a crash, and this legislation just requires the same thing for trains. Since there are relatively few companies actively engaged in this market, and Gatekeeper has already installed these units for trains in Philadelphia's SEPTA system, they have been poised to capture an outsized portion of this ~$300m (according to the company) opportunity :
