Consumer sentiment rose for a third straight month in February, reaching its highest level since August. The Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index inched up 0.2 points (0.4%) to 56.6 this month, coming in below the forecasted 57.3. However, this six-month peak offers little relief as sentiment remains historically low, currently sitting in the 3rd percentile of the series' history....
