METALLIS COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL INAUGURAL DRILL CAMPAIGN AT GREYHOUND, IDAHO
MWN-AI** Summary
Metallis Resources Inc. has successfully completed its inaugural diamond drilling program at its Greyhound Property in central Idaho, marking a significant milestone for the company. The 2025 drilling campaign consisted of eleven diamond drill holes totaling 1,605 meters, targeting three key prospects: Bulldog, 1350, and Birdie. This program stands as the first-ever drilling effort on the Greyhound Property, which is historically significant, having been a hub of silver mining in the early 1900s.
Drilling operations have yielded promising results, with visible quartz-sulphide veining and mineralization detected across all three targets. Notably, the Bulldog target revealed semi-massive sulphides, while the 1350 target demonstrated substantial mineralization, including impressive historical assay results for gold and silver. At the Birdie target, extensive shear zones with quartz sulfide veins have also shown potential.
Metallis's Vice President of Exploration, Dave Dupre, expressed excitement over the findings, highlighting the successful understanding of mineralized structures and the continuity of targeted shear zones. The company has submitted all samples for analysis, with results expected to emerge in the coming weeks, which will refine the exploration model and guide future drilling campaigns.
Further affirming its operational efficiency, Metallis acknowledged its exploration team and contractors for executing the project on time and within budget. The results from this inaugural drill campaign will be crucial for developing the Greyhound Property, which is situated in close proximity to major historical mining activities in North Idaho's prolific Silver Valley. As Metallis moves forward, its commitment to exploration in Idaho continues to be underscored by these initial successes.
MWN-AI** Analysis
Metallis Resources Inc. has successfully completed its inaugural drill campaign at the Greyhound Property in Idaho, marking a significant milestone for the company. With eleven diamond drill holes totaling 1,605 meters, the program successfully targeted three promising areas—Bulldog, 1350, and Birdie. Initial observations indicate the presence of mineralization that includes quartz-sulphide veining and polymetallic sulphides, which can potentially enhance Greyhound’s position within the competitive mining landscape.
Investors should perceive these drilling results as a potential growth catalyst. Historically, the Greyhound area has shown high concentrations of valuable minerals, including gold, silver, and antimony, contributing to its reputation as part of a prolific mining district. The confirmation of encouraging mineralization at the Bulldog and 1350 targets, with promising assay results anticipated, solidifies Metallis’ strategic approach to exploration and adds credibility to its exploration model.
Looking ahead, it will be vital for investors to monitor the upcoming assay results closely. The data expected to be released in the coming weeks and months will provide more insight into the viability of Greyhound as a commercially exploitable resource. Any significant positive results may serve as a rallying point for the stock, potentially driving an increase in share value.
However, investors must consider prevailing market conditions and the inherent risks associated with mining exploration, which can be influenced by fluctuations in commodity prices, capital availability, and regulatory challenges. Diversifying investments and maintaining a balanced portfolio is always recommended as a risk mitigation tactic.
Overall, with the completion of its drill campaign and promising initial observations, Metallis Resources Inc. presents an intriguing opportunity. Investors should remain vigilant and prepared to act on assay results for further guidance on the stock's trajectory.

Canada NewsWire
VANCOUVER, BC, Nov. 6, 2025 /CNW/ - Metallis Resources Inc. (TSX-V: MTS; OTCQB: MTLFF) ("Metallis" or the "Company") announces the completion of its 2025 diamond drilling program (the "Program") at the Greyhound Property ("Greyhound" or the "Property") in central Idaho, USA. The Program consisted of eleven diamond drill holes (See Table 1) totaling 1,605 meters ("m"), targeting three previously identified prospects: Bulldog, 1350 and Birdie (See Map 1). This was the first drill campaign ever conducted on the Property. The Company reports drilling intersected zones of quartz-sulphide veining with visible mineralization. All samples have been submitted for analysis, with results now being received. Following analysis and interpretation, initial results are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Dave Dupre (Metallis V.P. Exploration) commented, "Greyhound's first drill program has been a major success, delivering a meaningful improvement in our understanding of the mineralized structures across all three tested targets. The visual results are encouraging, particularly the continuity of the shear zones and the presence of polymetallic sulphides. We look forward to receiving all the assay data which will allow us to quantify these observations and refine our exploration model. These results will be key in guiding our geological team as we plan future drill campaigns at Greyhound."
Bulldog target
At the Bulldog target, four holes totaling 484 m were drilled from two pads centered on a 12-meter-wide silver-gold-antimony shear zone where surface samples previously returned up to 4.9% Sb and 3,360 g/t Ag in grab samples (Metallis News Release, October 30, 2025). Drilling encountered semi-massive sulphides hosted in quartz-sulphide veins containing pyrite, arsenopyrite, and trace sphalerite, galena, and stibnite. Drill cuttings were also sampled at this location and will be interpreted in conjunction with the drill core assays.
1350' Target
Three drill holes totaling 660 m have yielded compelling results, revealing significant sulphide mineralization across substantial lengths in each hole. Specifically, our drill holes strategically targeted several zones near the Lower Rufus adit, where historical channel sampling* revealed impressive results along a 36.9-meter length, returning 1.85 g/t Au and an astonishing 785 g/t Ag* (Metallis News Release, October 30, 2025). Encouragingly, our mineralized shear zone has now been traced over 60 m vertically and 70 m horizontally. With three definitive intercepts, we are gaining a clearer understanding of the morphology of this promising mineralized shear zone.
Birdie Target
Four drill holes were completed at the Birdie target totaling approximately 462 m. Two scissored drill holes were drilled underneath the Upper Birdie portal. Two more holes were drilled off another pad, 50 m southeast of the Lower Birdie. Notably, two trench cuts spaced 70 m apart, along with historic adits, have highlighted a substantial shear zone featuring quartz sulfide veins measuring 1m to 3 m in total width.
Analytical Techniques
Core samples taken for assay are halved with a diamond saw with one half being sent to ALS Labs (a laboratory independent from the Company) and the other half being retained on site for future reference. All the samples are analyzed using the ME-MS61 methodology (Four acid Super Trace Analysis). In addition, all samples are fire assayed (ME-GRA21) with 30-gram sample and a gravimetric finish. Known standards and blanks are inserted into the stream of samples on a regular basis. Additionally, all cores are photographed with a high-resolution camera for future viewing. Assay results are expected throughout November and December 2025 and will be reported as they are received, interpreted, and verified that QA/QC has been met.

About Greyhound Property
In February 2024, the Company optioned the Property which is in Custer County, Idaho, approximately 42 km northwest of the town of Stanley and 35 km south of Perpetua Resources' Stibnite Mine. The Property was the center of an active silver mining camp in the early 1900's and at one point contained a smelter and two active mines situated along the 3.5 km Greyhound shear.
The Greyhound targets are hosted by prominent shear zones with polymetallic quartz - sulphide veins containing elevated concentrations of gold, silver, antimony (a critical mineral), lead and zinc. They are comparable to numerous mines in North Idaho's Silver Valley. This famous district is one of the most prolific silver districts in the world. The total quantities produced are impressive: over a billion ounces of silver, 3 million tons of zinc, and 8 million tons of lead, ranking the Silver Valley among the top ten mining districts in world history (Bennett, E.H., 2006).
