I've been selling off equities for the past few months, many of them at what I believe, or believed to be, peak valuations. Based on historical data, it seems very clear that many of them, at the time, had peaked. Furthermore, I had returns of between 25-90% that I didn't want to lose if we saw a downturn, which added to my motivation to sell. This is not something I might have done 5 years ago, in 2021, when I was still what you'd call a "buy and hold forever" investor. ...
