POET Technologies Stock - Downgrading My Bullish Rating
In mid-January 2026 , I published an article on POET Technologies Inc. ( POET ), calling the stock a "Buy" because the prospects and the technology it had developed by that time seemed quite solid, promising future contract wins with major AI enablers and, as a result, an inflection in POET's financial performance over the coming few years. The stock price didn't move for some time, but then suddenly, it soared by >100% as the prospects became clearer to more people. But yesterday, all of a sudden, the stock fell down by >47%, and it keeps contracting on the post-market:
