When I first researched POET Technologies Inc. ( POET ) in early 2024, the company was in a critical situation. After almost running out of money, it was forced to push for a capital raise in bad conditions , which led to a drastic decline in its share price from almost $4 to $0.9. The company was a penny stock even shortly after implementing a 10:1 reverse split . And in the end, the Dec. '23 and Jan. '24 capital raises only extended the company's runway by an additional ~3 months....
