Investment Thesis
Let me start by saying that POET Technologies (POET) is sitting in the sweet spot of a once in a generation tech boom. The company's optical interposer technology addresses a critical bottleneck in AI data centers. That is moving huge amounts of data at high speed and low power using light instead of copper. I have previously rated POET as a strong buy, and the stock has rewarded my conviction by soaring 83% and 15%, respectively. And despite the recent slowdown, including the stock taking and the quant ratings moving from strong buy to strong sell, I still believe that POET's story is just getting started. Therefore, I am maintaining my strong Buy rating. And here are some of my reasons....
