Paramount Resources: A Lot Of Cash Goes Well With La Niña

The last article on Paramount Resources Ltd. ( PRMRF ) noted that the company agreed to sell the rest of its NuVista Energy Ltd. ( NUVSF ) shares. The latest announcement noted that the sale was completed . The company now has cash of C$800 million plus a C$750 million line of credit. At this point, the original plan to restore production (also noted in the last article) after the sale of most of its production will go ahead regardless of industry conditions, with that kind of financial liquidity. Then again, Mother Nature has come to the aid of the company in the form of La Niña, where the periodic cold spells are only going to make that cash hoard grow larger....
