Why Investors Should Watch Rocket Lab's Space Systems As Closely As Neutron

Rocket Lab (RKLB) shares are trading about 10% higher today, and 29% on the 5-day chart, on the back of news that their Hungry Hippo system, part of the Neutron, has passed quite a bit of crucial testing. As we've seen many times this year, each time some positive news is announced surrounding the Neutron, shares trade higher. You can pick up shares now in the $62 range. There was other news this week, however, which I thought was just as important as the Hungry Hippo announcement. It seems Rocket Lab is pushing further into a heavier satellite load, into the 500kg to 600kg range. That comes on the back of news that the Canadian Space Agency has just awarded them C$1 million to develop a new, much larger reaction wheel. As I will explain, moving into this heavier satellite category could eventually open up a new market for Rocket Lab....
