The value investing playbook is quite simple. Buy good companies when they are at a good price. But as much as it is simple, I don't think it is so easy. Chipotle ( CMG ) a few years ago seemed like an “obvious” choice; the fundamentals were excellent, and even if the price did not seem good, the compounding should offset this valuation problem in the long term....
