We resume our regional bank coverage with the just-reported earnings out of Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. ( PB ). This bank has been growing organically and has been acquiring other banks. Earlier in 2025 they made a move to acquire American Bank in an all-stock deal valued at $322 million. Today we also learned that they are going to acquire Stellar Bancorp ( STEL ) in a cash and stock transaction valued at about $2 billion. This move will result in it being Texas's second largest bank by deposits....
