President Donald Trump’s tariff war was always going to create winners and losers both at home and abroad, and right now, farmers look set to rank among the biggest losers. Various policies, including crackdowns on undocumented immigrant labor and declining demand from China, have put the VanEck Agribusiness ETF ( MOO ) and many of its holdings on tenuous ground. Across the country, farmers are struggling to find workers to work the fields, and among those who have been successfully harvesting crops, many are unsure of what to actually do with their crops following China’s decision to not buy American soybeans. These conditions will make for tough plowing, and smaller farms could prove especially vulnerable....
