BTZ: Fed Cuts By 25 Basis Points, But Don't Blindly Jump In

The BlackRock Credit Allocation Income Trust ( BTZ ) is a closed-end bond fund that investors may opt to purchase in order to earn a very high level of income from the assets in their portfolios. The fund manages to do pretty well at the provision of income, as it boasts a 9.31% yield at the current share price. This is obviously higher than the yield of any of the major domestic or global bond indices, as seen in this chart:
