Consumer sentiment fell for the first time in four months in August amid rising inflation worries. The Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index was down 5.0% (3.1 points) to 58.6 this month. The latest reading was lower than the forecast of 61.9. Consumer sentiment has fallen by 13.7% (9.3 points) compared to a year ago....
