Producer Price Index: Wholesale Inflation Up 0.5% In December

The latest report on the Producer Price Index ((PPI)) shows that wholesale inflation for final demand increased by 0.5% in December. This uptick was higher than the expected 0.2% growth and follows a 0.2% increase in November. On an annual basis, the headline PPI was unchanged at 3.0% year-over-year, coming in above the forecast of 2.7%....
