The Yorkville Acquisition Corp. ( YORKU , YORK ) SPAC IPO units offered a free peek at their potential deal. Today, that free peek is now a cheap peek. IPO investors got a unit that included a share of YORK as well as a third of a warrant offering the right to buy shares at $11.50 per share. The IPO launched in late June and the deal was announced in late August. Today, shares cost $11.60 and can be redeemed for the cash in trust. The trust was overfunded by $0.05, so started at $10.05 and is now ~$10.12 so for each share you buy you’re risking ~$0.48. That is the price for a ticket to see the market’s reaction to their deal....
