The restaurant space is incredibly competitive. Where we are seeing intense competition is in casual dining, and in particular those that specialize in beef offerings. One such name is Bloomin' Brands, Inc. ( BLMN ). Sure, made famous by the blooming onion appetizer, the company is best known for its Outback Steakhouse, and over the last few years it has struggled to win business and protect margins. It has been losing out to competition. And it looks like another year where EPS will decline. However, early estimates are for a return to growth in 2027....
