High Tide Inc. (NASDAQ: HITI ) is strengthening its national footprint with the launch of two new Canna Cabana locations, one in Winnipeg and another in downtown Toronto . The Winnipeg store officially opens on June 27, followed by the Toronto location on July 1. These additions bring the company's total store count to 202 across Canada, including 83 in Ontario and 12 in Manitoba.

The Winnipeg location is situated on Henderson Highway near Chief Peguis Trail, a busy traffic corridor. This high-visibility, grocery-anchored plaza serves a nearby population of approximately 10,000 and represents High Tide's first Canna Cabana in the city's north end. The opening marks a move into a previously untapped market with limited nearby competition.

In Toronto, the company will debut its newest store in The Well, a high-profile mixed-use development that blends upscale retail, dining, and residential spaces. The new Canna Cabana is located adjacent to Wellington Market, a modern food hall that sees thousands of visitors daily. The area also features a public plaza that regularly hosts events, adding to the steady foot traffic.

Both new stores support High Tide's strategy to expand in high-potential markets. The company reported that, in March, its stores in Ontario and Manitoba delivered annualized revenue run rates significantly above the national average. This performance reinforces the value of its discount club model and loyalty ecosystem.

High Tide also acknowledged recent regulatory developments in Manitoba with the passing of Bill 9. The law restricts controlled access licenses in communities with fewer than 5,000 residents, aiming to preserve age-gated cannabis retail for responsible operators. The policy shift is expected to enhance long-term stability for licensed retailers in the province.
