NewGen Adds to K25.ai Investment as AI Prediction Market Push Deepens

NewGenIVF Group (NASDAQ: ) is turning a small strategic stake in K25.ai into a broader public-market push around digital assets, AI and prediction markets.

The Nasdaq-listed company said Thursday it exercised a top-up option to acquire an additional 4% of K25.ai, raising its total holding to 6% after an initial 2% investment in May. The new $4 million commitment is split between cash and newly issued NewGen Class A ordinary shares, bringing NewGen’s total investment in K25.ai to $6 million at an implied $100 million valuation.

K25.ai is building an APAC-focused livestreaming and watch-to-predict platform that uses AI tools to help generate, monitor and resolve markets tied to live events, entertainment, sports, esports and creator communities in permitted markets. The company said its waitlist has passed 35,000 users as it prepares for launch.

NewGen is also adopting a Digital Asset Treasury strategy alongside the expanded investment. The framework is expected to include selective holdings in major digital assets such as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: ) and Solana (CRYPTO: ), with a focus on reserve accumulation, disciplined capital allocation, institutional custody and risk-controlled yield opportunities where permitted.

The deal also brings K25.ai closer to NewGen’s governance structure. NewGen plans to add founder and CEO Andy Cheung and two other K25.ai co-founders as non-executive directors, with Cheung expected to lead its digital asset treasury strategy and AI prediction-market allocation.

Cheung said NewGen’s top-up “speaks to the momentum” K25.ai is building, adding that prediction markets are becoming a new layer of information infrastructure.

NewGen now has a public-market angle on prediction markets as the category expands beyond politics into finance, sports, entertainment and live digital culture. The test is whether that exposure can move beyond strategic positioning and translate into measurable traction for K25.ai’s still-private platform.
