May 13, 2026 TheNewswire- Vancouver, British Columbia- Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE:FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) is pleased to report continuing outstanding drillintercepts from the Cobrasco Project in Chocó, Colombia.

Drillhole CDH008 was completed to a downhole depth of 652.25m, withresults extending the Cobrasco Central Cu-Mo porphyry system to thenorth. Near-surface mineralization begins at approximately 52mdownhole and is associated with multiple mineralized porphyry phasesand related magmatic-hydrothermal breccias. Two additional drillholeshave subsequently been completed from the same platform, includingCDH009 (completed; assayspending) and CDH010 (in progress). Visual logging indicatessulphide mineralization consistent with the broader Cobrasco Centralsystem in both holes.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • CDH008 further confirms the northwest (“NW”) extension of theCobrasco Cu-Mo mineralized system, returning:

272m @ 0.50% Cu, 75ppm Mo, 1.92g/t Agfrom 52m

Incl        152m @ 0.67% Cu,68ppm Mo, 1.90g/t Ag from 54m

  • Drillhole CDH008 was drilled due north to test thenorthern continuity and extension of the shallow mineralized zone atCobrasco Central.

  • Additional step-out drillholes from the same drill pad, including CDH009 (completed) and CDH010 (in progress), are testingnorthwest and west-southwest (“WSW”) extensions to mineralization, respectively. Assays for both holes remain pending

  • The Cobrasco mineralized footprint continues to expandwith successive drilling and currently extends approximately 1,100malong strike and 550m laterally.

  • Mineralization remains open in all directions, withfurther expansion potential toward the NW and WSW imminent, pendingresults from CDH009 and CDH010.

Ongoing scout drilling continues, with further largestep-out holes targeting the NW and northern extensions of the systemplanned.

Andina Copper’s President and CEO Joseph van denElsen commented:

“We continue to systematicallyadvance a wide-spaced scout drilling programme, actively testing thelimits of the Cobrasco system with wide fans of significant step-outdrillholes. The system continues to grow with each successivedrillhole, with the mineralization footprint already covering an areaof ~1,100m x 550m, and results from CDH009 and CDH010 expected tofurther extend.

Surface geochemistry and fieldobservations strongly suggest that the mineralization continues to thenorth and northwest and indeed remains open in all directions.Preparations are being madefor the mobilization of a second diamond drilling rig to support the next phase of definitiondrilling of Cobrasco Central and new porphyry centers still to betested”.

Geology and Mineralization –Drillhole CDH008

Drillhole CDH008 was collared from the same drill padas CDH006 and CDH007 and drilled due north at an inclination of -50°to test the northern continuation of the shallow mineralized zonepreviously intersected from this collar position. Previous drillholesfrom the platform intersected broad intervals of shallow, continuousmoderate- to high-grade Cu-Mo mineralization commencing from approximately 38 m downhole, includingintervals of up to 486m in CDH006 (see Table 1: Cobrasco Project –Significant Drill Intercepts).

CDH008 (azimuth 360°, dip -50°, depth 652.25m) wasdesigned to test approximately 420m laterally and 500m vertically fromthe collar position.

The drillhole intersected a leached cap with intensesupergene alteration developed over intermineral rhyolite porphyry.Beneath the supergene-leached zone, a 30 m interval containingchalcocite coating hypogene sulphides suggests the incipientdevelopment of secondary copper enrichment.

The upper portion of the hole comprisessericite-altered intermineral rhyolite porphyry intrudingdacite-andesite porphyry. The rhyolite porphyry contains early quartz(“A-type”) veins with disseminated chalcopyrite and pyritemineralization.

The strongest mineralization encountered in CDH008 isassociated with several potassic and sericite-alteredmagmatic-hydrothermal breccias spatially related to intermineralrhyolite porphyry intrusions. Higher Cu-Mo grades are consistentlyassociated with hydrothermal breccia phases, where chalcopyrite occursas matrix infill and as thin cross-cutting veinlets overprintingearlier molybdenite mineralization. Bornite was locally observed, commonly rimming chalcopyrite, and may indicate a laterhigher-sulphidation mineralizing event.

Younger late-intermineral rhyolite phases wereintersected between 217m and 253m, and again below 290m, wheremineralization and alteration intensity decrease and are characterizedby weak sericite alteration associated with “D-type” veins.

At 398m, the drillhole intersected a crowdedgranodiorite porphyry interpreted to represent an earlier, relativelybarren precursor intrusive phase.

QAQC

CDH008 was collared with a PQ size drill string to a depth of 126m andcontinued with HQ/HQ3 to a final depth of 652.25m. In all cases thedrill core was extracted from the core barrel by the drill contractorunder the supervision of Andina Copper personnel and placed in coreboxes with appropriate depth markers (core blocks) and padding addedfor extra protection during transport. Full core boxes were thensealed before being transported by helicopter and pickup truck to theCobrasco core cutting facility in Quibdó. Core was cleaned whererequired, marked-up and photographed, prior to undergoing geotechnicaland geological logging. All core was cut by diamond saw by AndinaCopper technicians, other than the top saprolite intervals that couldbe cut and sampled by hand tools. All sampling was conducted innominal 2m intervals with cut-lines marked by the supervisinggeologists to ensure representative sampling. Samples were placed inplastic bags with non-repeatable sample tags and bagged in polyweavesacks ready for transport.

The core trays with the remaining half-core are stored at the AndinaCopper facility in Quibdó for ongoing geotechnical (Terraspecspectral analysis, magnetic susceptibility readings, rock densitymeasurements) and follow-up detailed geological logging.  FromQuibdó, core samples were sent to the ALS preparation facility inMedellin, an accredited laboratory which is independent of theCompany. Prepared sample pulps were then sent to the ALS laboratory inLima, Peru for gold (Au-AA23), multi-elements (ME-MS61), and“overlimits” analysis (ME-OG62 including copper Cu-OG62). Coarseand fine rejects are returned by ALS Medellin for storage at theAndina Copper storage facility.
